Purchase Ledger & Accounts Clerk
\nLaindon \u2013 Office based \u2013 Must Drive due to location
\nFull-time \u2013 Permanent – Monday \u2013 Friday 9-5pm
\nSalary: \u00a324k – \u00a327k<\/p>\n
You’ll be handling our day-to-day supplier invoices, keeping our purchase ledger tidy, and making sure our payments go out on time. It\u2019s a key role that helps keep the business ticking along smoothly.<\/p>\n
Duties:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Processing and checking supplier invoices<\/p>\n
\u2022 Matching up invoices with POs and delivery notes<\/p>\n
\u2022 Sorting out any invoice queries with suppliers<\/p>\n
\u2022 Prepping payment runs<\/p>\n
\u2022 Helping with reconciliations and month-end bits<\/p>\n
\u2022 Supporting the rest of the finance team where needed<\/p>\n
\u2022 What we\u2019re looking for:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Some experience working in a similar role (purchase ledger\/accounts payable)<\/p>\n
\u2022 Great attention to detail<\/p>\n
\u2022 Good with numbers and Excel<\/p>\n
\u2022 Experience with finance software (Sage, Xero, or similar would be a bonus)<\/p>\n
\u2022 A team player with a can-do attitude<\/p>\n
