The Role
\nWe are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth within the logistics and freight forwarding sector.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities
\n\u2022 Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within freight forwarding and supply chain services.
\n\u2022 Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their logistics needs and provide tailored solutions.
\n\u2022 Achieve and exceed sales targets through proactive prospecting, networking, and consultative selling.
\n\u2022 Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
\n\u2022 Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
\n\u2022 Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and contracts to prospective clients.
\n\u2022 Maintain accurate sales records and reports using CRM tools.<\/p>\n
Skills & Experience Required
\n\u2022 Proven experience in business development or sales within the logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain industry.
\n\u2022 Strong understanding of international freight (air, sea, and road) and customs regulations.
\n\u2022 Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
\n\u2022 Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
\n\u2022 A proactive and self-motivated attitude with a results-driven mindset.
\n\u2022 Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
\n\u2022 Full UK driving license preferred.<\/p>\n
