Restoration Operative \u2013 Full-Time Temp to Perm(Essex & London Area)
\nAre you practical, reliable, and ready for a hands-on role where no two days are the same? We\u2019re seeking a Restoration Technician to carry out specialist cleaning and property works across a variety of sites.<\/p>\n
Working Hours:
\nMonday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
\nOccasional overtime (paid at enhanced rate) and on-call responsibilities
\nMinimum age: 25+ due to insurance policy<\/p>\n
We’re looking for someone who:
\nWorks well both independently and in a team
\nHas a strong work ethic and a \u2018can-do\u2019 attitude
\nCommunicates clearly and professionally
\nIs physically fit and comfortable working in tight or awkward spaces
\nIs keen to learn and develop new practical skills<\/p>\n
What You\u2019ll Need:
\nFull, clean UK driving licence
\nPhysically able to lift and carry materials
\nComfortable using tablets\/iPads for reporting and documentation
\nGood communication, literacy and numeracy skills
\nSome basic DIY or property maintenance knowledge is a bonus
\nWillingness to undergo a DBS (criminal background) check<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:
\nCarrying out strip-out work, deep cleaning, and site preparation
\nSetting up and maintaining specialist equipment on location
\nHandling furniture and household items for cleaning and storage
\nCompleting digital reports using mobile devices
\nCommunicating with clients, contractors, and other professionals on-site
\nFollowing health & safety protocols including the use of PPE and risk assessments
\nEnsuring work vehicles are clean, stocked, and well-maintained
\nAttending regular training sessions, both in-house and external<\/p>\n
