Job Title: Helpdesk Coordinator
Location: Shoebury / Southend
Salary: £28,000 – £31,000
Hours: Mon & Fri 08:00–17:00 | Tue–Thu 08:30–18:00 + 1-in-5 out-of-hours rota (including weekends)
About the Role
We are working with a leading property and facilities management company to recruit a Helpdesk Coordinator to join their busy team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a company that is focused on service delivery and building strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Handle inbound and outbound calls from clients and contractors
Log, schedule, and coordinate work efficiently
Act as the main point of contact for customer queries and service requests
Liaise with contractors to allocate jobs and confirm attendance
Monitor job progress and follow up to ensure completion
Update internal systems accurately and in a timely manner
Provide excellent customer service at all times
Support the wider team with day-to-day HelpDesk activities
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a helpdesk, customer service, or call-handling role is desirable
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Confident liaising with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders
Good organisational skills and ability to multitask
Comfortable working with systems, logging calls, and managing workflows
Personal Attributes
Life experience, knowledge, and interpersonal skills to bond with the team and clients
Calm under pressure and able to manage competing priorities
Reliable, professional, and proactive
