Salesperson – Logistics
Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00
Salary: £32,000–£34,000 (depending on experience) with real growth potential
Are you ambitious, outgoing, and ready to make your mark in logistics sales? We’re looking for a proactive salesperson to join our team, start internally, and grow into both internal and external sales.
You’ll work closely with the head of our sales team, learning, developing, and taking ownership of client relationships while helping our business expand. We’re looking for someone who thrives on making calls, converting opportunities, and going the extra mile.
What You’ll Do:
Build and manage a client portfolio, fostering long-term relationships
Identify and secure new business opportunities
Present logistics solutions to potential clients and close contracts
Collaborate with internal teams for seamless service delivery
Keep sales records accurate and up to date
What We’re Looking For:
3–4 years’ logistics sales experience (Sea Freight Import/Export preferred; Air, Road, and Warehousing experience a bonus)
Confident, outgoing, and self-motivated
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
CRM and Microsoft Office proficiency
