Job Description:
Pay: £14.50 per hour
Shifts: 4 on / 4 off | Hours: 6am–6pm
Role Overview:
Responsible for coordinating the movement, loading, and dispatch of transport vehicles, containers, and trailers in line with company procedures, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
Key Duties:
- Manage positioning of containers and trailers on loading bays
- Supervise transport contractors on site and ensure safety compliance
- Carry out daily checks on tug units and trailers
- Liaise with internal departments to maintain smooth operations
- Identify and resolve issues affecting daily load schedules
Requirements:
- Full UK driving license
- Proactive, self-motivated, and forward-thinking
- Strong communication skills
- Resilient under pressure
- Basic mechanical knowledge
