Job Role: Customer Service / Account Handler

Salary: £23,000

Location: Chelmsford

Monday to Friday 8.30-5.30

I am recruiting for a customer focused individual who loves organising, coordinating, and assisting their customers. This is a telephone focused role which also includes administration . The aim is to Improve and develop customer service capabilities for the service and operations team and provide excellent after sales support. No two days will be the same! You will be liaising and building relationships with clients advising them with any queries and delivery updates or requests.

You will be assisting with customer enquiries and act at the first point of contact:

  • Liaising with customers via phone, email, web, and internal systems
  • Provide update on deliveries
  • Work closely with the logistics and transport team’s transport
  • Problem solve and resolve any customer issues that may arise
  • Provide reactive and proactive support to increase customer retention
  • Answer all incoming service calls (from customers not drivers)
  • Reply to all messages in the Transport service chat
  • Respond to all customer emails in the service inbox and allocate any emails which needs to be dealt with by members of the servicing team.

Previous office-based customer service, logistics , account management, Scheduler / coordinator or helpdesk experience is ideal for this position.

Due to location, you will need to be a car driver (Free parking available)
