    What You Will Be Doing

    Installing both addressable and conventional fire alarm systems to the latest BS 5839-1 standards

    Reading and working from electrical drawings and system designs

    Running and terminating fire-rated cables neatly and securely

    Fitting and connecting all fire system components including detectors, call points, panels and more

    Carrying out fault-finding, testing and pre-commissioning checks

    Ensuring all installations are clean, professional and compliant

    Communicating with clients, site managers and colleagues as needed

    Completing accurate documentation and installation records

    Maintaining health and safety practices on site

    Supporting service and call-out duties when required

    What We Are Looking For
    Essential

    Hands-on experience installing fire alarm systems to BS 5839-1 standards

    Knowledge of addressable systems such as Advanced, Kentec, C-Tec, Apollo and Hochiki

    Strong understanding of fire safety and electrical regulations

    Full UK driving licence

    Ability to read and interpret system drawings and specs

    Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

    A team player who can also work independently

    Desirable

    FIA installation qualifications or equivalent

    IPAF or PASMA certification

    Valid ECS or CSCS card
