HGV2 Dust Cart Driver – Immediate Start
Location: Buntingford
Job Type: Temporary / Ongoing / Temp to Perm
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Early Starts (typically 6:00 AM)
Pay Rate: £17.35 per hour PAYE
Role Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced HGV2 Dust Cart Driver to join a reputable waste management team. You will be responsible for driving a dust cart and working alongside a crew to complete daily waste collection routes across residential or commercial areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate an HGV Class 2 (Category C) dust cart
- Work closely with loaders to complete timely collections
- Follow designated routes and schedules
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous experience in waste/recycling or multi-drop driving preferred
- Newly Qualified accepted
- Good customer service and teamwork skills
- Comfortable with early starts and physical work
