We are currently recruiting for an experienced Technical Sales Manager to join a rapidly growing, global manufacturer within the flat roofing and building envelope sector.

The Role
As a Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing a defined territory, focusing on both new business development and account growth, while providing technical expertise to clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing new business opportunities within the commercial and industrial roofing sector
- Selling into contractors, specifiers, local authorities, and end users
- Providing technical advice and product specifications to clients
- Managing and growing existing customer accounts
- Increasing revenue from underperforming or dormant accounts
- Building a strong pipeline through cold calling and territory planning
- Delivering against agreed sales targets, KPIs, and revenue objectives
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Experience in technical sales / field sales / area sales within construction or flat roofing
- Strong knowledge of roofing systems or building envelope products
- A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Experience in new business development and territory management
- Ability to provide technical support and specification guidance
- Confidence in cold calling and lead generation
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A highly motivated, target-driven, and ambitious mindset
