This is a great position which offers you the opportunity of meeting with clients face to face as well as providing excellent customer service over the telephone and via the specified App and ordering system.
Your clients are within the restaurant and catering industry and your core objective is to retain and grow these accounts by managing all day-to-day queries or issues by providing relevant, timely and accurate information. The role will be based within a friendly team in the offices in Ongar Essex, but you will also visit clients face to face around the London area. no more than once per week
You will:
• Create effective Account Plans and retain & grow existing business
• Manage and monitor Price, Quality & Service with each assigned customer through:
• Price Checking of new contract SKU’s
• Invoice Checks to ensure suppliers are upholding agreed tendered prices.
• Managing suppliers against service level agreements
• Assisting with the mobilisation of any new accounts
• Take ownership of and resolve any supply and quality issues with the relevant supplier
• Offer support to customers regarding the on online ordering systems (Marketman, Procure Wizard, Fourth etc.) Training will be provided
• Manage all Accounts through the CRM system
This role would suit someone who understands the food , restaurant or hospitality industry but that is not essential. Previous Account Management or business development experience is required
· Hospitality, restaurant, or catering knowledge is preferable but not essential ·
Strong IT skills, in particular MS Excel but also Word, Outlook and Power-point is required

Reports to: Head of Accounts
Overall Purpose:
To ensure the efficient running of all assigned customer supply chains. The core objective is to retain and grow these accounts by managing all day to day issues by providing relevant, timely and accurate information.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• To create effective Account Plans and to use these as tactical tools to retain & grow existing business
• Closely managing Price; Quality & Service with each assigned customer through:
o Price Checking of new contract SKU’s
o Invoice Checking Audits to ensure suppliers are upholding agreed tendered prices.
o Managing suppliers’ against agreed SLA’s
o Assisting with the mobilisation of any new wins/business
o Building and maintaining customer relationships by being professional & efficient
o Ensuring that all customer meetings have clear objectives and feedback. Action points are fully captured within the customer folders
• Take ownership of any day to day supply and quality issues and to resolve with the relevant supplier
• Supporting Commercial team in maintaining customer price files
• To offer support to customers on online ordering systems (Marketman, Procure Wizard, Fourth etc.)
• To manage all Accounts through the CRM system

• Hospitality experience preferable but not essential
