CNC Miller – Setter/Operator
Location: Witham
Salary: Circa £17.00 per hour + Overtime
Are you an experienced CNC Miller looking for an exciting opportunity in a busy, well-established subcontract engineering company? Our client operates across multiple industries, including Aerospace, Motorsport, Medical, Commercial, and Oil & Gas, and is now seeking a skilled CNC Miller to Program, Set, and Operate Hurco Mills.
The Role:
Programming, Setting, and Operating Hurco milling machines.
Programming on and offline using OneCNC software.
Setting up and running machines to fine tolerances.
Collaborating with the turning section to optimize efficiency.
Assisting with lathes when required during peak workloads.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in Programming, Setting, and Operating CNC milling machines.
Offline programming experience (OneCNC preferred).
Ideally apprentice-trained, but hands-on experience is more important.
High attention to detail and the ability to work to very fine tolerances.
