Job Title – Event Sales Executive
Salary – £35,000 – £45,000 annual base + double OTE
Benefits: TBC at interview stage
Location: London – hybrid working
*This role is hybrid with partial work-from-home and in-office two days a week.
Type: Full-time, permanent (Monday- Friday)

The Event Sales Executive will be responsible for developing new business, securing sponsorship, event, and conference revenue and working alongside industry partners to create comprehensive lead generation campaigns for our clients identifying new opportunities from our portfolio. Specifically, the role will focus on creating custom proposal/offering which includes digital products, sponsorship products on conferences and One-to-One meeting portfolio of events.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of the event/conference industry. Additional knowledge and passion to learn about Shared Services, Outsourcing, Automation, and Digital Transformation sector would be a plus.

Day to day responsibilities, will include:
Market research and lead sourcing of new business whilst retaining existing business.
Prospect for new business and build a full pipeline of sales prospects, outreach through written, voice and online engagement.
Create effective and persuasive proposals, building bespoke sponsorship opportunities to match prospect’s lead generation needs and goals by incorporating our full product range (digital, conference and select portfolio)
Oversee the full sales cycle managing revenue delivery against both required baseline business metrics and growth targets.
Work closely with the Content, Marketing and Operations experts to ensure the successful delivery of product.
Develop long term business relationships with clients, focusing on quality of service and client satisfaction to drive repeat business.

3+ years B2B Sales experience required, with 1-2 years related experience in events/conference sponsorship sales and/or digital media sales.
Previous experience in selling to marketing and sales leaders within technology, automation, digital transformation companies is good to have, not a must.
High level of expertise in cold calling and prospecting. A hunter who can dig for new leads and referrals.
Successful track record of generating new business revenue.
High level of self-motivation and a strong work ethic, able to work independently and as part of a team with a strong focus on KPI set by the business.
Detailed oriented with exceptional organizational skills and an ability to handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
General office technology skills required (PC, Microsoft Outlook, CRM, LinkedIn)
