Business Development Administrator

Our client is a well-established but growing communications company who are looking for a bright confident individual to join them in a Business Development Administrator role. You will support the Sales Director to develop and implement growth opportunities in existing and new markets. You will research to identify leads and reach business contacts via telephone, email, and in person.
This is a highly administrative office based role that also offers the opportunity to travel. We are looking for the type of person who enjoys lots of client liaison and is keen to join a company which offers opportunity and progression.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Working closely with the Sales Director to provide administrative support whilst assisting with sales projects
Following up on leads generated by the marketing department
Learning and developing an understanding of a new industry and the key markets they operate in
Support with external exhibitions and customer visits, this is an exciting opportunity to travel overseas and will include overnight stays
Some cold calling to gain business interest
Updating CRM to record sales information and activity
There is the opportunity to travel overseas and it will include some overnight stays within the role.
This role would suit a strong Sales Administrator who has sales flair and the confidence and experience of liaising with clients both over the phone and face to face. Previous sales or business development experience is beneficial, preferably within a business to business role.
Strong administrative skills are essential
