Household Technician Underwriter
Location: Basildon, Essex
Salary: £28,000 depending on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm
Our client is looking for an experienced Household Technician Underwriter who will work closely with each area of the business to promote profitable growth of the account.
- Regular and timely analysis of account to identify both opportunities for growth in profitable areas and to identify and suggest corrective action for poorer performing parts of the account
- Undertake regular review of product’s and conduct regular competitor analysis in order to boost and maintain the position of within Non-Standard Household market
- Assist with ongoing maintenance of product literature, Underwriting guides and endorsement suite
- Assisting the Technical Manager with projects as required
- Assist with the management and updates of products
- Provide assistance, where needed, in the audit programme. (Occasional travel to different locations will be required)
- Assist with the set up and management of bespoke broker arrangement’s ensuring including review of new and existing deals, delegated authority and trading agreements
- Complying with all company policies and procedures, including health and safety procedures
- Carrying out any other functions deemed necessary by the Technical Manager for the effective operation of the department
